Nació el 5 de agosto de 1974 en Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, México, hijo de Humberto Mendoza y María Salazar. Abel fue un hombre que vivió con pasión y propósito, dejando un profundo impacto en todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo.
Abel fue precedido en la muerte por su padre, Humberto Mendoza, una pérdida que pesó mucho en su corazón.
