Anthony Dwayne Cothern passed from this life July 7, 2023.  He was born in Nashville, TN November 5,1976.

Anthony or as most people knew him, "Banks," was a hard working bigger than life husband, father, and friend with a huge heart and love for all.  He worked hard and long hours as an entrepreneur pallet recycling business owner.  He was a great provider for his family and generous with friends. Banks had an affinity for anything Scarface related especially quotes which he saw as deeply honest, philosophical and words to live by. Family meant so much to Banks, he literally had a tattoo of it. Banks  often told his family if you need him regardless of time or day he would drop everything and come in like a Learjet to the rescue.

Banks was preceded in death by his mother, Jennie and cousin Robert.

He is survived by his wife, Robyn Whitworth; son Kyndull Cothern; daughters, Kinzlee Cothern and Katilyn Whitworth; father, Howard Cothern; brother Frankie Cothern; sisters, Kristi Cothern and Tonya Tomlinson; bonus brothers Phillip Goodman and Jerry Goodman; bonus dad Jerry Burnett; grandbabies, Kaveah Cothern, Natalie Whitworth, Olive Whitworth, Myles Glover, and Bodie Thompson and many beloved, cousins, and friends.

A visitation will be held Tuesday July 18, 2023 at All Saints Episcopal Church in Smyrna, TN from 5pm-7pm with a Celebration of Life to follow at 7pm.
