Barbara Sue Ireland born June 23, 1974 passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at her home in Tullahoma, TN surrounded by her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.

Barbie was a 1992 graduate of Cypress Lake High School in Fort Myers, FL and went on to earn her doctorate in dental surgery from the University of Missouri, Kansas City in 1998. She spent her career helping people smile as dentist however her family and friends smiled most knowing her as a strong woman of faith, a devoted wife to Andy, a loving mother to Sadie and Kaleb and loyal friend to many.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing board games, cards and had a talent for singing.  Barbie never met a stranger and touched many with her kindness and generosity.  She was an uplifting person who would want to be remembered for the light she shared with those around her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Ireland, brother Bradley and sister, Amy. She is survived by her husband Andy Kirkpatrick, two children Sadie and Kaleb, mother and stepfather Sandra and Tom Angle, brothers, William and John, sisters Pam and Kathy as well as lots of nieces, nephews and dear friends.

A private memorial celebrating her life was held in Destin, FL by her family on December 31.  In lieu of flowers, if you are so inclined, donations can be made in her honor to a college fund benefiting her children at:
