Betty Mershon Wright went home to be with the Lord on Sunday April 2, 2023 following a long illness. Mershon was 74 years old and was born on October 24,1948 in Fayette Alabama. She loved her family and her cats very much.

Mershon was originally from Rossville GA but lived in Smyrna TN for the past 38 years. She was a member of Stones River Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents Lindsey and Eloise Wright of Rossville GA.

She is survived by her sister Rebecca Allison of Smyrna, brother Miles (Judy) Wright of Ringgold GA, and brother Hillary (Deb) Wright of Marietta GA. She is further survived by nephews Dr. Eric Wright, M. Jarrad Wright Esq., Dr. Jordan Wright, several cousins, and several grand nieces and nephews.
