Casandra Denise Evans was born to the late Jerry and Mary Louise Before Steele in Chicago Illinois on June 23,1968. She had one son, Isaac who stayed close to her at all times. They left Chicago in 1996 and  she met Larry at Healing Hands Full Gospel Church where she confessed and received  Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of her life. They were married on March 2, 19 W97.

Her favorite scripture was Colossians 3:4 " When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory."

Cassandra departed on December 19, 2023.

2 COR: 518 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord!

Cassandra leaves behind a loving husband, Larry; son, Isaac, her heart and only child and his family of precious grandchildren, Braxton and Amber who love her so much; sisters, Loretta and Natalie; brother Jeff; in-laws  Vera, Rosita, Dennis, and Ken; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dear Mom,

I love you.  I miss you every day saying the words that can get me back focused. You were my best friend.  We spoke everyday and laughed.   You always told me  to talk to God through everything.   I still look back at the texts you would  send me for encouragement.

You were the definition of selfless.  You would always do for others before yourself.  I know you are in a better place now.  I know you don't have to worry about the world anymore.  Your spirit will always forever live on  I love you, Mom.
