Charles Ryan Pytlewski  passed from this life to the next April 22,2024.  He was born February 26, 1978 in Denver, Colorado to Harry (Jerry) Pytlewski and Elynn Bath.

The Pytlewski's moved to Nashville when Charles was about a year old.  Charles graduated from Smyrna High School in 1996 and attended MTSU in Murfreesboro and graduated in the early 2000's.  Charles served as a police officer for Nashville Metro Davidson County for about 13 years and was recently promoted to rank of Sergeant.

Charles was a competition shooter and had several accolades. In addition, he played a plethora of instruments including drums, bass, cello, and keyboards.  When not playing music and shooting competitively, Charles enjoyed spending time with his favorite guy, his eight year old son, Mason. They would go to movies and play video games on the Play Station 5.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Mason Pytlewski; parents Jerry and Elynn Pytlewski; brother, Derrick Pytlewski (aka Duke); sister Tesha Young; nieces Jessica May, Lyndsey May; nephews Michael Pytlewski; great nephew Jordyn Brigham; special friend Ashley Pytlewski.

A commemoration will be held in his honor at All Saints Episcopal Church at 1401 Lee Victory Parkway, Smyrna, TN 37167 on Friday May 3, 2024 from 7pm to 9pm.
