With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Thomas Best, a charismatic and beloved family man, who left us on October 29, 2026. Born on December 28, 1982, in Nashville, TN, Daniel brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.

Daniel was the cherished son of Terri Best and the late Darrell Best. He is remembered fondly by his children, Preston Luttrell-Best and Layla Best, who were the lights of his life. His love and devotion to his family were evident in every aspect of his life, and he leaves behind a legacy of warmth and strength. Daniel was predeceased by his father, Darrell Best, and his brother, Todd Milliken. He is survived by his loving mother, Terri Best, and his siblings, Leesa Miller, David Best, DJ Best, and Wade Best, along with many beloved friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

Daniel's passions were as varied and vibrant as his personality. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as fishing and collecting rocks, coins, and baseball cards. His curious mind was always captivated by conspiracy theories, which he loved to discuss with his unique sense of humor. His charisma and infectious laughter brightened the lives of those around him, creating lasting memories that will be cherished forever.

A service to honor Daniel's life will be held on November 5, 2026, at 12:00 PM at All Saints Episcopal Church, located at 1401 Lee Victory Parkway, Smyrna, TN 37167. Friends and family are welcome to join in celebrating the life of a man who touched so many with his kindness and humor. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10 AM to 12 PM. Burial will follow the service at Wheeler Cemetery, 1251 Antioch Pike, Nashville, TN 37211.
