Darrell Thomas Best was born May 12, 1958 in Jacksonville, NC.  He passed to glory May 6, 2023.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents Roger Blair Williams and Francis Elizabeth Waller; sisters  Karen Carpenter and Darlene Milliken.

Darrell is survived by his children:  Leesa Miller, David Best, Daniel Best, Roger Best, and Wade Baleda; grandchildren: Katelynne Williams, Cameron Miller, Samantha Miller, Preston Luttrell-Best, Layla Best, Breonna Best, and Kassidy Best; brothers Brian Skelley and Eason Duncan.

Darrell  was a kind hearted gentle man who loved with all his heart.  He possessed a great sense of humor and love for his Chihuahua, Lihla. Darrell was a humble handy man and talented auto mechanic. Darrell was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.
