David F. Hampton

David F. Hampton, age 67, of La Vergne, Tennessee, passed away on August 23, 2026. His family grieves the loss of a brother whose quiet strength and genuine kindness left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.

Born in Trenton, New Jersey, David had a deep devotion and love for animals, a compassion that showed in the way he cared for every creature he encountered. That gentle nature was one of the defining parts of who he was.

He is survived by his two sisters, Maryann Shapiro (Paul) and Barbara Krueger (Jeff), and several nieces and nephews, who will forever remember his warmth, his humor, and his kindness.

In accordance with the family’s wishes, no public service will be held.
