Debra Jean
Manor
July 24, 1958 – January 6, 2023
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Debra Jean Manor of Liberty Tennessee on Friday, January 6, 2023 at the age of 64 years, from an unexpected cardiac arrest. Even though a failing heart took her away from this world, her loving heart left a beacon of light for all her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father Aline Bennett of Texas and Nelson Moore of Mississippi; brother Kenny Moore of Texas. She was also heartbroken and preceded in death by her daughter Amanda Marie Manor of Murfreesboro TN.
She is survived by her Bonus Daddy Albert Bennett better known as Pops of TX; daughters Tabitha (Jason) Williams of Liberty, TN, and Samantha Pullen (Jason Melton)of Shelbyville, TN; grandchildren Jacob Lesniewski of McMinnville, TN, Jasmine (Nathaniel) Thomason of Liberty, TN, Violet Lesniewski of Nunnelly, TN, Katherine Williams of Liberty, TN, JT Williams of Liberty, TN, and James Pullen of Lebanon, Tn. Her sister Patricia (Dale) Brown of TX, her brothers Buddy (Joan) Bennett of TX, Dennis (Dee) Moore of TX, Billy (Jo Ellen) Moore of MS; a host of nieces and nephews. We would also like to mention her close personal friend Jeff Aikens of Christiana TN.
Debbie, as she was known by her loved ones, was a homemaker while her children were younger. As her daughters left home she enjoyed living out on the farm with her close partner of many years, Jeff. She grew up loving animals and always enjoyed being surrounded by horses and other animals on the farm. Simply put, she enjoyed her simple country life. She was a God loving woman who was known to be a great friend to many of the people in her life.
Though Debbie's health was failing for years, few people knew the extent to which she struggled. Her joy for life and indomitable spirit kept her pushing through the pain as well as her belief in her Lord, Christ Jesus. Her grandchildren would tell you that nobody had a sense of humor quite like grandma. She was known for making the best meatloaf you ever tasted. She also made sure to tell and show her family how much she loved them daily. These last few years her health has kept her down and although she will be greatly missed, we find comfort in the fact that she's no longer in pain with her failing body, she's no longer existing instead of living, and she's able to rest easily in peace with her precious Mandy Mayhem.
A private service will be held at a later date at our family's request, and our family would like to express our gratitude to everyone who went out of thier way to help with her final arrangements. The compassion and outreach that has been shown towards our family is an appreciated blessing in our time of grief.
The family invites you to share your thoughts, fond memories, and condolences on line at www.simplecremationtn.com
