Debra Darlene Whitehead passed from this life August 31, 2023.  She was born August 1, 1959 in Nashville, TN.

She is survived by her only child, Brittney Ann Nicole Whitehead, her best friend and sister Lydia Lynn Spann Palmer, and her loving sister Joyce Spann Shrieve.

She is proceeded by her Father William Calvin Spann, her mother Tena Harmon Spann, and brother William Calvin Spann Jr. Grand dad Sr.

Debra from youth always had a free spirit, and is also best described as a "lone wolf", and was one that would bring humor to even the darkest situations.

To feel closer to her, we will listen to her favorite songs; "Wish You Were Here" by the band "Incubus", and "Mary Jane's Last Dance" by the band "Tom Petty and the heartbreakers
