Delta Rae Frye, 34,  left this world on Monday March 31, 2025 with her husband at her side  to be with the Lord and her family who are waiting for her in heaven.

She is proceeded in death by her loving mother Tammy Lynn Gunnells Frye, her wonderful grandparents who adopted and cherished her Bill Lester Gunnells and Hessie Jane Elkins Gunnells, her uncle Paul and Luther Gunnells, her Nan, Janet Holiday Edge, her granny Juanita Holliday.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 15 years Matthew Allen Frye,  the children in her life Carter Joseph, Izzy, Eliza, Rylee and Jesse, three sisters, Brenda Lee (David) Bryant, Latasha, Michelle Jane (Willy) Ellis and Raven Lovecraft, her father-in-law Walter (Gloria) Frye Jr, her mother-in-law, Denise (John) Melton, and an uncle Bill Gunnells.

Delta had a large group of friends who she loved just like family. Delta is one of a kind and she loved her loved ones so deeply. She was an avid history lover, outdoor lover, loved playing disc golf, and she loved animals very much

Her memorial service will be held at 1pm at Smyrna First United Methodist Church in Smyrna, Tn with Pastor Theresa Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 11-1 before the service. Everyone who loved Delta is welcome to attend.
