Eligia Nolan Stafford Jr passed away on August 29, 2026, at the age of 58. He was born on April 18, 1968, and will be remembered with love by all who knew him.

Above all, Eligia’s life is reflected in the family he leaves behind and the many bonds that surrounded him. He is survived by his five sons, Brandon Stafford, Nolan Stafford, Eligia Stafford III, Christopher Stafford, and Devin Stafford, along with their children, whose lives continue to carry forward his name and memory. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Greyson Stafford, Noah Stafford, Kaylee Stafford, Zain Stafford, Kenlee Stafford, Rylie Stafford, Maizie Stafford, Emmie Stafford, Lakeleigh Stafford, Stella Stafford, Tate Stafford, and True Stafford. Through each generation, his presence will continue to be felt in shared stories, family gatherings, and the enduring love that remains.

He is also survived by his stepmother, Doris Stafford; his sisters, Betty Mills, Teresa Shelley, Larua Moore, Michelle Bolton, and Suzanne Dodson; and his brothers, Donald Stafford and Robert Kling Jr. Each of them shares in the loss of a man whose place in the family will never be replaced.

Eligia was preceded in death by his father, Eligia Stafford Sr; his mother, Carolyn Carver; his sisters, Kathy Roach and Virginia Stafford; and his brother, Allen Stafford. Their memories remained part of the story of his life, and now he is reunited with those who went before him.

Those who loved Eligia will remember him not only with sorrow, but with gratitude for the years they shared with him. His memory lives on in his sons, in his grandchildren, in his brothers and sisters, and in the many family connections that meant so much throughout his life. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
