Flossie Jane Poole was born October 7, 1952 to the late C.L. and Ruthie Mae Poole in Hardeman County, TN. She was preceded in death by her sister Diane Poole, brother Curtis Poole, Sister, Anna (Larry) Graves Sr, Sister Rosie Mae Johnson, brother Willie C.Donnie (Carolyn) Poole, Sister, Shirley Poole, Sister Ester Higgs.

Flossie graduated from Merry High and pursued her secondary education to become a beautician and owned her own Salon called "Ebony's Beauty Salon" she graduated from West Tennessee Business College to become a bookkeeper and paralegal studies. She later obtained her Licensed Practical Nursing license at the Vocational Technology school in Jackson TN.  She was also a seamstress for most of her life.
Flossie spent her life learning and acquiring new skills. This legacy of resourcefulness, talent and skill is some of what she leaves to each one of her children. The most important thing she leaves is the foundation of the love of GOD.
Flossie was a woman of Faith and loved God. One of the last words she uttered was "God Has Spoken". She knew that her life began and ended with GOD.

She leaves to cherish her memory four children, Octavius (Kathryn) Poole, Ebony Poole, Issac Poole, Corisa White. Eleven grandchildren: Octavius Poole, Jr, David Poole, Ruthie Poole, Brian Poole, Alma Poole, Dy'Quan, Poole, Andre Poole, Kamin Newsom, Maliyah, Poole, Malachi Poole, and Trenton Norman (aka her best friend). Two great grandchildren Kaeloni Poole, Chanel House (Nel).
In addition, she leaves several loving siblings, Verline (Steadman) Poole Peterson, Gwendolyn (Norris) Chandler Sr, LeRoy Poole, Victor Poole, Robert Earl Robertson, Carmella Poole, Wavier Poole Reid, Christine Hardy, Lisa Neely, Latoya Kidd, Michael Hunt, Marvin Hunt, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
