Itali Andrea Mimms was born on November 13, 1987, to Benjamin Carroll Mimms Jr and Barbara Ann Crowder Hurd. She departed this life on March 23, 2023.

Itali was educated in the Metro Nashville Public School System, where she graduated from McGavock High School in 2005. Itali was baptized at an early age and became a member of Community Christian Church as of June 3, 2018 under Pastor John Walker.

Itali loved her family, she liked going to family gatherings, going out to eat and anything family related.

Itali was preceded in death by her daughter Ziana Marie Mimms, mother Barbara Ann Crowder Hurd two grandmothers Donie Mae Crowder and Fannie Lee Owens, aunts Wilma Milliken and Dorothy Reese, Uncle Freddy Milliken.

Itali leaves to cherish her precious memory her father Benjamin Carroll Mimms Jr, (Patricia), stepfather Andrew Hurd, grandfather Wilburt Crowder Sr, very devoted cousins Lynda Patton, Tangell Boyd (Karliyah Brown) Corey Crowder, sisters Crystal Barbee, (Kedrin), Nashima Crowder, LeeAnn Mimms and brother Ben Mimms, nieces Cliresha, Jazmine Tahlia, and one nephew Jaxson. Maternal aunts Angela Meyers, Sharon Frazier (Fred), Brenda Crowder, maternal uncles Harold Ewing (Mable), Larry Patton Sr (Mildred), Wilburt Crowder Jr (Lisa), Ronnie Crowder (Milagros), Ricki Patton, paternal aunts Ella Mccord, Anita Taylor (James), Beverly Jenkins, Bethrena Mimms and Dr. Debra Tillery, uncles Charles Owens (Barbara), Barry, San Pablo, California, Brian (Angel), Brendon Mimms. Itali was God mother to Ziiah Blakemore and a host of cousins and friends.

Services will be held Sunday April 2, 2023 at Community Christian Church in Nashville, TN with visitation starting at 5pm to 6pm and services following at 6pm.
