Jimmy Leeroy Walker, born December 1, 1959, in Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on July 21, 2026. His life, marked by resilience and meaningful relationships, leaves a legacy cherished by his family and those who knew him.

Jimmy was the beloved son of Essie Scales and the late Jimmy Joe Walker. He is survived by his devoted mother, Essie, who has steadfastly supported him throughout his journey in life. He also leaves behind two sisters, Marilyn Chapman and Vicki Zelekna. Jimmy’s extended family includes nephews Michael Timmons, Noah Zelekna, Paxton Zelekna, and Wade Parkhurst, as well as nieces Erica King and Lexi Zelekna and a host of other family members and friends.  Each of these family members carries forward his memory with fondness and admiration.

A dedicated and kind individual, Jimmy’s place of birth in Nashville served as the beginning of a life that would touch many others. His enduring bonds with his family and the significance he placed on those relationships are reflected by the care and admiration shown by those closest to him.

Family, friends, and all who wish to pay their respects are invited to attend the visitation on August 15, 2026, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 1401 Lee Victory Parkway, Smyrna, TN. Immediately following, a memorial service will be held at the same location from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
