John Harris, age 64, passed away on April 1, 2022 in Murfreesboro, TN after a six-month battle with cancer.

He was born on August 14, 1957 in Nashville, TN, to Kenneth Harris and Frances Swaney Harris. He graduated from Hillsboro High School and attended Carson Newman College. He spent his career in packaging manufacturing at Associated Packaging, and later at Packaging Fulfillment, Inc.

He was preceded in death by brother Kenneth M. Harris, Jr.

He is survived by his daughter Lindsey Harris (Colby Sledge), grandson Arthur Sledge, sister Sonja (Randy) Castleman, brother Chris Harris, nephew Ben (Lisa) Castleman, and great-nephew Zander Castleman.

A celebration of life reception will be held on Monday, April 11 at the Carriage Lane Inn (337 E Burton St.) in Murfreesboro. Friends and colleagues can stop by anytime between 4-6pm to pay their respects.
