Kristine Michelle
Tolladay
August 22, 1978 – August 15, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kristine Tolladay, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left us on August 15, 2025. Born on August 22, 1978, in Decatur, Illinois, Kristine lived a life filled with love, compassion, and joy, which she shared generously with everyone around her.
Kristine was the beloved daughter of Bruce Berry and the late Kathy Ferguson. She is survived by her loving husband Jeremy Tolladay and their cherished children, Kendall Nic and Tanner. Kristine's heart overflowed with love for her grandchildren, Carter, Remillia, and Tinslia, who brought her immense joy and were the light of her life. Additionally, she leaves behind her beloved sisters, Jennifer McCullough and Stephanie Berry, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who adored her.
Kristine had an unparalleled ability to touch the lives of children. She never met a child she didn't love, and she dedicated herself to their happiness, ensuring that every child she encountered felt valued and cherished. She had a special knack for making connections and would always end a conversation with those she loved by saying, "I love you," a testament to her nurturing spirit and deep affection for her family and friends.
Her hobbies brought her immense joy. Kristine enjoyed camping, music, and dancing, and her culinary skills were a source of happiness for her loved ones, as she often cooked for gatherings that brought the family together. She found fulfillment in making others happy, and her generous spirit will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
Kristine was preceded in death by her mother, Kathy Berry, who she admired and loved dearly. She often spoke of her mother with great fondness, reflecting the values of love and family that Kathy instilled in her.
As we mourn the loss of Kristine, we also celebrate the vibrant life she lived and the indelible mark she left on our hearts. Her legacy of love, compassion, and kindness will forever live on in the lives she touched. Kristine Tolladay will be dearly missed, but we find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace, surrounded by love, and watching over her family with a smile.
