In Loving Memory of Kwang Choe

Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Kwang Kil Choe, also known as Charlie, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of faith, service, and love.

Born on April 3, 1943, in Seoul, Korea, he served as an electrician and as a lieutenant in the Republic of Korea military. He later served as a deacon at Nashville Korean United Methodist Church.

Kwang enjoyed playing ping pong, spending time outdoors gardening, and staying active as a regular gymgoer. He found joy in the simple things and in the time he spent with his family.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Young.

He is survived by his children, Sae Jung Amy Choe and Agia Ward (Adam) and his three grandchildren, Micah, Norah, and Eden.

A memorial service will be held at Nashville Korean United Methodist Church on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.

“I keep trying to reach the goal and get the prize for which God called me through Christ to the life above.”

— Philippians 3:14 (NCV)
