Laureano Antonio Cruz, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on May 28, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee. Born on July 4, 1980, in Oaxaca, Mexico, Laureano exemplified the spirit of dedication and love throughout his life. He was 44 years old at the time of his passing.
Laureano was the cherished son of Nicolas Antonio Enriguez and Anastacia Cruz Rosales. He was an unwavering pillar of strength for his family and is survived by his loving wife, Heather Joslin Cruz, and their three children: Anjelita Joslin, Nicolas Cruz-Joslin, and Galeno Cruz-Joslin. Laureano's legacy will live on not only through his immediate family but also through his father, siblings—Emiliano Antonio Cruz (Efigenia), Marina Antonio Cruz, Eleuterio Antonio Cruz, Aurelia Antonio Cruz (Jose), Adrian Antonio Cruz, Reyna Antonio Cruz, Faustino Antonio Cruz (Valeria), Ignacia Antonio Cruz (Andres)—and numerous beloved family members and friends.
Laureano was preceded in death by his precious daughter, Ana Luna, as well as his mother-in-law, Kathy Ann Joslin, and father-in-law, Ralph Ray Andrzejewski. His family and friends will forever cherish the memories of his generous spirit and unwavering dedication.
For 13 years, Laureano worked tirelessly in the family landscaping business, driven by his passion for beautifying the world around him. He was not only dedicated to his work but also devoted to his family, always striving to create a nurturing environment filled with love and joy. His love for Ranchero music brought warmth to gatherings, and he found peace in the serenity of fishing and the thrill of hunting. Laureano had a unique ability to make everything around him beautiful, whether it was through his meticulous work or the love he poured into his family.
A funeral service to honor Laureano's life will be held on June 3, 2025, at 5:00 PM at St. Luke Catholic Church. The visitation will start at 10:30 AM and will conclude at 5 :00 PM. This gathering will be a celebration of the remarkable life he led and the indelible mark he left on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
As we bid farewell to Laureano Antonio Cruz, we remember a man whose fervor for life, love for family, and passion for beauty enriched the lives of all around him. His memory will continue to inspire those who loved him, reminding us all to cherish our families, embrace our passions, and strive to make the world a more beautiful place. Rest in peace, Laureano. Laureano era el hijo predilecto de Nicolás Antonio Enríguez y Anastacia Cruz Rosales.
