Lena Kathryn "Kathy" Glidwell born May 26, 1955 in Humboldt, TN, passed away on February 7, 2022 in MurfreesboroTN at the age of 66 years young. She is preceded in death by her parents Norville Hicks and Ruth Elizabeth Fewell.

Surviving are her 4 children, Thadeus Ragan (Rachel), Kasey Marcus (Troy), Autumn Maynard (Matthew), and Damien Glidwell (Meloney).
Her favorite people were the ones that called her Grandma. Michael Glidwell, Will Russell, Lincoln Marcus, Paiton Wiles, Logan Marcus, Kierstin Glidwell, Faith Marcus, Aiden Glidwell, Baby Eden, and her 1 great grand, Delilah Russell.

Kathy graduated from Humboldt, Class of 1972,  then went on to study drafting at UT Martin.
Kathy was employed by D&D industries of Lexington, TN. She moved to Nashville in the early 90s working in retail management and then to Rutherford County in 2004 where she ran an in home daycare until 2017. Kathy loved to read and educate herself. She was so intelligent.

Kathy was the perfect example of pure selflessness and love. She always gave her all for her family and those she loved, wanting for nothing in return. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Kathy was always advocating for all of us, and everyone, to eat healthy and educate ourselves about the importance of maintaining a whole food, plant based diet, so, in lieu of flowers, although she loved them, I am positive she would appreciate that everyone subscribe, and/or donate to Nutritionfacts.org
