Madlyn Norell "Maddy" Petrillo (Madden) passed away peacefully on December 27, 2023, at the age of 85 in Nashville, TN. She was born on February 16, 1938, in Greenup, KY, to the late Anna Smith Madden and Charles Clifford Madden. Maddy was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Maddy was a wonderful, kind, and giving person. She was always thoughtful of those around her and had a strong and resilient spirit. Her greatest joy in life was raising her children and grandchildren, ensuring they grew up to be strong and confident individuals. Maddy's legacy will live on through her daughter, Lisa Dawn Hejazi, and her grandsons, Laith Charles Hejazi and Jordan Alexander Hejazi. She was also blessed with a great-granddaughter, Lazuli Rue Hejazi.

In her free time, Maddy enjoyed two of her favorite hobbies: gardening and painting. She had a green thumb and could make any plant thrive under her care. Her paintings were a reflection of her vibrant spirit and creativity.

A Celebration of Life will be planned in honor of Maddy's memory, and details will be shared with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association, a cause that was close to Maddy's heart.

Maddy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her kindness, strength, and love will forever be remembered. May she rest in eternal peace.
