Melody June
Campbell Thomas
January 28, 1951 – February 22, 2024
Melody June Campbell Thomas passed from this life to the next February 22, 2024. She was born in Franklin, TN to Hassell Gee Campbell and Viola Lurene Harper January 28, 1951.
Mel as she was affectionately called by those who knew her was loved, trusted, respected and supported by family and friends. She was that cool Aunt you could go to and entrust with things of the heart both big and small. She would and love and support you through life's ups and downs. Mel loved sports and especially the Lady Vols and the Titans. She had great disdain for Alabama as any Vols fan should! Mel is likely ecstatic to be in the company of her hero Pat Summit former Lady Vols basketball coach as she was an avid fan. Mel also loved Dolly Parton, growing tomatoes, and mowing the lawn on her riding mower. She was very particular about how the lawn was mowed because no one else knew how to do the lines correctly in the lawn!
Loved ones preceding her to glory are parents, Hassell Gee Campbell and Viola Lurene Harper and a precious nephew, Little Ricky.
Left to cherish her memory is her wife of 42 years Patricia Ann Adams, two brothers, three sisters, three step-daughters, three step-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the home Mel and her wife Patricia shared together on March 23, 2024 at 2974 Thompson Rd, Murfreesboro, TN 37128 at 1pm.
