Michael Llewellyn Conrad, of Nashville, TN, passed away peacefully in his home on April 6, 2024. A native of Paducah, Kentucky, Michael was known for his love of family, community, and dedication to his career.
Michael is survived by his devoted wife, Cherry; his loving son, David, and daughter-in-law, Holly; as well as his cherished granddaughters, Samantha and Leona. Michael's memory will also be treasured by his sister, Carol, alongside numerous family members and friends whose lives he touched deeply.
Michael was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Anne, his step-mother, Virginia, and his brother, Clark.
A graduate of Western Kentucky, he built a distinguished career in Healthcare Finance and Operations, where his contributions and leadership were invaluable.
Beyond his professional achievements, Michael was known for his love of the outdoors. An avid hunter, boater, golfer, skier, and general athlete. Michael was an avid supporter of the UK Wildcats, the Tennessee Titans (Founder), and the Nashville predators showcasing his unwavering team spirit and love for sports. He was also a lover of travel, having visited 27 countries across the globe.
Michael was also a proud Tennessee Squire, a testament to his deep-rooted love for his adopted state and its traditions.
Michael's legacy of kindness, generosity, and love for life will continue to inspire us all. He will be remembered not only for the life he lived but for the countless lives he enriched. He was a wonderful husband, caring father, grandfather, uncle, great-uncle, brother-in-law, and friend. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made instead to the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency.
