Ricky Neal Powers Sr. 68 was years of age and originally from Antioch, TN. He was a long term resident of Smyrna TN, but presided in Savannah TN. He passed away Thursday  the 3rd of July 2025.  Ricky was born the 12th of  Feb, 1957 to Richard and Harriet Powers of Virginia and Nashville. Ricky had two sons with is former wife of 28 years Linda King Powers, Ricky Neal Powers Jr. of Woodberry, TN and Jeremy Russel Powers.

Ricky was a member of  Antioch Baptist Church and student at Old Antioch High School.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines proudly serving 4½ years at Camp Lejeune from 1974 - 1979.  He retired from the United States Postal Service in Murfreesboro, TN.

Ricky was an avid deer hunter and bass fisherman for much of his life as he loved the outdoors.  He had many friends in his lifetime and will be missed  by those who knew him.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Harriet Powers; son, Jeremy Russell Powers; siblings, David Russell Powers and Richard Powers.

He is also survived by his brother Albert Powers of Nashville, TN; granddaughter,  Kiya Alysse Powers; Grandson, Thai Russell Powers; Great-grand son, Kyran Alexander Kano; sister, Diana Sloan of LaVergne TN.

Ricky will be laid to rest at the Nashville National Cemetery, 1420 Gallatin Pike South, Madison, TN 37115 on Thursday August 14, 2025 at 1:00 PM.
