Obituary

Robert Carlson Wolf passed from this life April 4, 2023. He was born November 7, 1952 in Port Huron, MI.

Robert preferred Bob and is described as soft spoken, wonderful, awesome, the best, loving, gentle, funny and the list goes on and on.  He had a wonderfully dry sense of humor.  Bob was a fabulous husband and family man who loved spending time with his family. Being a musician and particularly a guitar player, Bob recorded music for all of his daughter's Brownie Troop events.  Bob was also a member of a well known local band, "Whiskey Run" who played in venues all over Nashville with local hit songs such as, " Hog Wild."  Bob loved music which was always on his mind.  It is said you could often see him moving his fingers as music played in his mind.

Bob also served for many years as a police officer both in Texas and in Tennessee.  He was the type of Police Officer we need today, who respected all people and treated them with dignity.  Bob was also a top marksman earning accolades from competitions and training others officers and prospective officers on the safe and efficient use of their  firearms.  Bob retired from La Vergne Police Department with the Rank of Captain. Bob's family and friends would all say he was "One of a kind."  He will be sorely missed.

Bob was preceded in death by his father, Carl Wolf and mother Betty Nasmith.

He is survived by his wife, Sara Wolf; daughters Carly Wolf and Caity Luter; granddaughter Piper Luter; many other beloved family members and friends.
