Roberta Rice of Lascassas, TN passed away peacefully at the age of 86.  She was born in Syracuse, NY April, 8, 1936 to Montague and Leona McIntyre.

She is survived by her son John Rice (Mary), daughter in laws Dedie and Terry Rice, her grandchildren Jim Collier, Mike Rice (Liz), Leona Rice Mathisen (Nik) and Marc Rice. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Isaiah and Lily Ana Mathisen. She is proceeded in death by her late husband Frederick Rice and sons  Tom and Jim Rice.

Roberta worked and retired as a dairy farmer.  Roberta's greatest pride in work was training service dogs for the blind.  She also loved riding horses. Her joys later in life were playing baby dolls with great granddaughter and playing chess with great grandson. Her favorite thing was trying new margaritas with her granddaughter, Leona. She also enjoyed going on atv rides looking at the great outdoors and everything God had created. She was very patriotic and loved America.
