Russell Curtis Jones passed away January 4, 2023.   He was born September 9, 1977 in Wilmington, NC to Harold F. Jones and Alda M Lamparter.

Russell was known by his best buddy, Mike as "Skeeter," to his dad as, "Pinhead," and to others as, "Curtis."  Curtis was known to his loved ones as a loyal friend who was super compassionate and would go above, beyond and without for this loved ones.  Curtis loved to sing.  He sang night and day, just not well.  He had an affinity for Eric Chruch and N'Sync's song Bye Bye Bye!

Curtis loved golf, football, and especially fishing.  He enjoyed the water. Ever since he went to Costa Rica and caught a sail fish he dreamed he would hit the lottery, buy a fishing boat and become Captain Curtis Fishing Boat Captain.

Curtis is survived by his father Rick Jones (step-mother Cindy); mother Alda Davis, step-brother Matthew Gibson; beloved family members and friends.
