On March 21, 2022 my dear wife, Shellia Dorris McFerrin left this earth to be with her Lord. She was
born October 9, 1946 in Nashville TN. Shellia had irreparable heart damage and was on life support and
with her wishes not to remain on support if no options left for recovery. My sons and I had to let her go.
Spiritually, her heart was very mindful of the needs of others and helped people in need whenever
possible. She loved her family beyond herself and would sacrifice anything to make their lives better.

Shellia is survived by her husband Thomas (Tom/Dickey) McFerrin, sons, Richard (Tracy) McFerrin,
Jeffrey(Amanda) McFerrin, and Jamie McFerrin. She also had nieces and nephews, to many to list.

She worked for many years with the Head Start program in various capacities. Shellia requested to
be cremated with no formal ceremonies. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date
which will be updated here and social media. Shellia was my wife and my best friend for just short of
fifty years. I am so blessed to have had her all those years but will miss her terribly. Rest in peace my
lovely lady
