Obituary

It is with deep respect and heartfelt remembrance that we announce the passing of Stuart McLean Warner, who died peacefully on June 23, 2026 in his beloved hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. Born on December 28, 1961, also in Nashville, Stuart lived a life deeply rooted in family, community, and the city that shaped him.

Stuart was the cherished son of Glenn Warner and the late Patricia Warner. He grew up alongside his brothers, Chris and Sam Warner, forging bonds that carried through his entire life. His journey expanded as he embraced his role as a devoted husband to Melissa Warner. Their marriage was a testament to partnership and enduring love, forming the heart of a tight-knit family.

Stuart was a proud and loving father to his daughters, Sarah Leclere and Allison Petty. In his role as father, he provided wisdom, care, and unwavering support through every chapter of their lives. His spirit and sense of humor live on in his grandchildren—Reagan Leclere, Nolan Leclere, and Charlie Petty—who were constant sources of joy and pride for him.

Family was not defined only by his immediate circle; Stuart remained an anchor for his extended family as well. He was a supportive brother to Chris and Sam, a guiding presence to his nephews Garrett, Brooks, and Calloway Warner, and a caring uncle to his niece Zelda Nagel. Each of them, having shared countless moments with Stuart, will hold his memory close in the years to come.

Though his mother, Patricia Warner, preceded him in death, the lessons and love she imparted were everlasting, shaping the man Stuart became and the legacy he leaves behind.

Stuart’s life was marked by his enduring loyalty, gentle wisdom, and the kindness he extended to all who knew him. Whether sharing laughter at family gatherings or quietly offering support during difficult times, he embodied integrity and goodness with grace.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Forest Hills Baptist Church. Visitation is 1:00-3:00 with the service at 3:00 pm.

Stuart McLean Warner leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and resilience that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
