Vicky Robertson earned her wings and joined her late husband Jay Robertson in their heavenly home January 10, 2023.  Vicky was born in New York City (Queens Boro)  December 31, 1928.  As a teenager, she and her brother Gerry took the train cross country to San Francisco. There she met a handsome Navy Sailor (James aka Jay Robertson) at the end of WWII. Vicky and Jay married in San Francisco and then travelled back to his home state of Oklahoma. They were married until the day he died just a few years ago. They raised five children. Vicky's family now boasts many generations of grandchildren, great grandchildren and even great, great grands! We're a big family now!

Vicky loved dogs and had several of her "babies" over her lifetime. She loved to gamble and was literally the luckiest person anyone ever met! She used to be an awesome bowler and she was famous for tripping over her feet or anything around her. She loved NFL football and adored the Dallas Cowboys!  A good portion of our family are still Dallas fans because of her!

Vicky was our tough Yankee with Southern Okie on top. She was beautiful, funny and wise.  She would tell you, "If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all." She had a very good sense of people and if asked how she knew something she'd say, "A little birdie told me!" Vicky probably should have been an actress she was beautiful and full of personality. She loved Jesus and was a devoted church goer. She loved her family, her friends, her church family, and her people at Brookdale Assisted Living.

Vicky is at peace now with her handsome Jay, our other family members and all her beloved puppies. We know she is in a better place, but we will miss her. We love you Vicky and we will see you again someday.
