Obituary

Virginia 'Ginger' Leigh Appleby, born August 25, 1956, transitioned peacefully to eternal rest on August 26, 2022.

Ginger was preceded in death by her son, Brian Lee Baker, Parents, Carmack and Doris Baker, and her brother, Jerry Baker.

Virginia was unique and often consider to be a 'one of a kind person' who never encountered a stranger. Occupying several roles in the service industry, it was no surprise that she loved people!  Ginger played basketball in High School and continue to love and watch the sport during her adult life.

Florida—Panama City Beach—was one of the places that brought Virginia a great deal of happiness. There were many memories made with family and friends.

Virginia leaves to cherish her memories, devoted daughter, April (Joe) Fitzgerald, Grandchildren, Alexander Sain, Ashton Rice, Joleah and Joveah Fitzgerald, Sister, Mary Kay Stringfield, Nieces, Michelle and Sherry Stringfield, nephew, Carey Stringfield, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.

Ginger's life will be commemorated with a walk through celebration on September 10 from 3:00pm—5:00pm at the Ephesian Primitive Baptist Church—1506 22nd Ave. North, Nashville, TN 37208.
