With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Vixiane Inthirakod on June 22, 2026. Born on January 3, 1956, in Pakse, Laos, Vixiane’s journey through the world touched many and left an indelible mark of kindness, strength, and love.

Vixiane’s story began along the banks of the Mekong River, where he was born and raised with the values of resilience and compassion that would become the cornerstones of his character. From those early years in Laos to his later life, Vixiane carried with him an enduring sense of generosity and unwavering dedication to those he held dear.

Vixiane’s deepest joys were found in the family he built and loved so tenderly. He is survived by his beloved spouse, Phiou Phomthisene, whose unwavering partnership was a source of strength and happiness throughout their years together. He was a devoted father to Louis Inthirakod, his wife Sarah, Crystal Inthirakod, and grandfather to Kaden, Kennith, KhmaiLa, Kaiyen, Kaliahni, Kaizen, Terris, Taraji, and all his grandchildren from Canada and U.S., all of whom were the pride of his life. The love and lessons he imparted remain imbued in their lives, standing as a testament to his nurturing spirit.

Those who knew Vixiane will remember his gentle wisdom, his quiet humor, and the sincerity with which he approached every relationship and endeavor. His guidance was a beacon to his family, helping them weather life’s challenges and celebrate its joys. Whether sharing stories at the dinner table or offering a steady hand during times of uncertainty, Vixiane’s presence was always a source of comfort and inspiration.

Throughout his life, Vixiane exemplified dignity and humility. He believed in the power of hard work and the importance of honoring his roots, blending the traditions of his homeland with the hopes and dreams of those he loved most. He leaves behind a legacy shaped by perseverance, grace, and the unspoken acts of kindness that brightened the lives of those around him.

Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Vixiane are invited to gather in memory and celebration of his life. A visitation will be held on July 3, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at LifePoint Church, 506 Legacy Dr, Smyrna, TN. The funeral service will follow at the same location from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Vixiane will be laid to rest at Mapleview Cemetery, 411 Maple St, Smyrna, TN, with a burial scheduled from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The family invites loved ones to share and gather for a "huiin dee" at their residence in La Vergne July 1, 2026 and July 2, 2026.

Vixiane Inthirakod’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege to know him. He will be profoundly missed, lovingly remembered, and eternally cherished.
